On a rainy week-end in June a family with a one year old baby was shocked, but fortunately not hurt, when the roof of their rented trailer fell in. They had nowhere to go. The Faith Community Coalition for the Homeless arranged for a motel room for a few days. Family friends, FCCH volunteers and a representative from the WV Coalition to End Homelessness got a truck and moved the family’s furniture to a shed. And the WV Coalition to End Homelessness was able get the family into a rapid re-housing apartment the next week. Now Mom has full time job too, the family is expecting another baby plus they are in unsubsidized housing. YES! Thank you to our volunteers, our partners at WV Coalition to End Homelessness and to all of you who have helped and contributed to The Faith Community Coalition for the Homeless!
